Valentine Tales

Once upon a Valentine
nine hermits of far-away Hermit Land
started the Valentine Crinches Band.
They chose an old barn near a dense forest
for their Valentine rehearsal concert
and soon they were happily set.
Shortly after strange things began
to fly around each
time when there was a drumming sound.
When the barn threw a fit the
band leader did not know what to think of it.
Until out of the hay rose what looked at
first like a clown’s red nose.
In fact it was an angry ghost who
told them to get lost.
The ghost introduced himself as the leader
of the Valentine Ghost Crinches
no taller than 12 inches.
He had such a bad temperament
that a few hot headed
hermit players also got out of hand.
Soon they all were rolling in the hay to
the Valentine Crinches songstress dismay.
Looking around to see what she could do
she spotted a skunk watching the fight too.
It suddenly struck her with an idea so wild
she cried softly like a wee little child.
Soon the skunk came her way and the
songstress pointed to the wild fight in the hay.
With a big grin on his face the skunk made a jump
landing in the middle of the haystack bump.
The songstress twirled and twirled
while singing her song.
TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP
JUMP JUMP JUMP
Thank you Mr.Skunk
You are the biggest hunk
TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP
THAT WAS A TRIUMPH JUMP.
The band leader and musicians where astound
when the leader and his crew of Valentine
Ghost Crinches no taller than 12 inches,
rolled frightingly fast down the laneway.
The Trump Song of the Valentine Crinches band
Soon became a big hit thanks to the wit
of the songstress in far-away Hermit Land.
